Reiki (pronounced RAY-KEY) is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy, an energy which is all around us.
The client lies down on a treatment couch fully clothed, eyes closed, listening to soothing music for relaxation.
The practitioner gently places their hands non-intrusively on or just above the client from the crown of the head working down to the feet in a sequence of positions which cover the whole body.
Each hand position is held for a few minutes and during that time healing energy will flow into the client balancing their energy system, releasing stress, soothing pain and helping their body’s natural ability to heal its self.
The whole person is treated, rather than specific symptoms.

Therapies are carried out in calm and peaceful surroundings.
